Product Description

An 8 week program with the primary goal of increasing your bench press 1RM. Secondary goals include increasing t-spine mobility for optimal bench press movement pattern, increasing upper body lean mass, and general back / shoulder health and stability.

The first 4 weeks of the program are aimed at getting your body acclimated to the bench press volume and frequency. Overall volume peaks in weeks 4 and 5 before tapering off to end with an evaluation of the bench press at the end of Week 8.

Accessory work is aimed at increasing lean mass. Compound exercises are prioritized for the muscles of the back (lats, mid-traps) and are complimented with high rep isolation exercises for the chest, delts, triceps, and biceps to promote blood flow and general joint health.

Moderate – High
This program would be best suited for mid – late intermediate lifters who are already technically proficient in the bench press.

Training Frequency

3x week with 2 dedicated upper body days. Recommended one lower body day / week for general fatigue management.
